  Out of all the synagogues I have attended in the Puget Sound, this is the only synagogue where I ever felt really accepted. I truly believe Rabbi Zalman is very passionate about Judaism and loves his community and the Jewish people. I've had my share of issues with synagogues and even other Chabads, but Rabbi Zalman and the Chabad of Tacoma are places where I feel welcomed and I feel Rabbi Zalman actually will listen and be genuinely concerned about all the various members of his community. Unlike some other Rabbis I have met in my life, he seems to be able to listen to other opinions and critique and you can have a reasonable conversation with him. I respect the Chabad of Tacoma and Rabbi Zalman and think anyone would feel welcome in his community, regardless of financial status or level of religious observance.

  Chabad Jewish Center of Pierce County is a unique place where you can experience Judaism in all its glory and wisdom. It is an extremely welcoming community of people who love G-d.
